Widget Bag is built to keep your data on your device. This policy describes exactly what the app does with information — and, mostly, what it doesn't do.

The short version Widget Bag has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, sell or share your personal data. Everything the app shows on your widgets is read on your device, for your widgets, and stays there.

What the app accesses, and why

• Location — used only to fetch local weather and sun times. Your approximate coordinates are sent to Apple's WeatherKit and/or the Open-Meteo weather service solely to answer that request; we never store your location on any server, and neither request includes anything that identifies you.
• Health — steps, activity, exercise and sleep are read from Apple Health on your device to display on widgets you design. Health data never leaves your iPhone. We cannot see it.
• Calendars & Reminders — your events and reminders are read on-device to display on your widgets. They never leave your device.
• Photos — photos you pick (and, for the On This Day widget, photos from this date in past years) are resized and stored inside the app's private container on your device so widgets can show them. Photos are never uploaded anywhere, and the On This Day selection happens entirely on your iPhone.
• Music — the app reads what's currently playing (Apple Music on-device; Spotify via Spotify's own API using the account you connect). Your Spotify connection is authorized by Spotify's official sign-in; Widget Bag never sees your Spotify password. Connection tokens are stored securely on your device only.
• Notifications — event-day reminders are local notifications, scheduled and delivered entirely on your device.

iCloud Sync (optional, off by default) If you turn on iCloud Sync, your widget designs are stored in your private iCloud database, protected by your Apple ID and accessible only to you. Apple acts as the storage provider under its own privacy terms. Photos never sync. Turning sync off stops all iCloud activity; your designs remain on each device.

Data you can delete More → Reset All Data erases everything the app stores on the device: designs, events, notes, counters, baked photos and settings.

What we never do We do not run analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not show ads. We do not fingerprint your device. We do not sell, rent or share data with anyone — there is nothing to share.

Children Widget Bag is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

Changes If this policy ever changes, the updated text ships inside the app with a new date at the top, and the change will describe itself honestly.
